John Brattain provides another astute analysis of the looming contract negotiations next year.  Also working in the owners’ favor is increasingly hostile reactions to the MLBPA in the sports press.  Murray Chass can carry the torch for so long.  I wonder what Fehr’s approach is going to be.  It’s hard to imagine something that won’t be combustible.
