good video search of youtube. Youtube's search isn't nearly as succinct. The most recently searched on keywords is disturbing, but predictable, I suppose.

Unreal
Via O'Reilly radar, this is really amazing. Using last chunk of Abbey Road is particularly inspired.

Moussaoi Too Unstable for 9/11?
What a frightening thought. From the LA Times
But Moussaoui's bombastic testimony — seriously doubted by intelligence officials — was immediately contradicted by the words of the suspected Sept. 11 mastermind, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, who said in an interrogation read aloud in court that Moussaoui was too "problematic" and unreliable to join the 19 hijackers on their suicide missions.

Not much of a revelation
NY Times on "Bush Was Set on Path to War"
At their meeting, Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair candidly expressed their
doubts that chemical, biological or nuclear weapons would be found in
Iraq in the coming weeks, the memo said. The president spoke as if an
invasion was unavoidable. The two leaders discussed a timetable for the
war, details of the military campaign and plans for the aftermath of
the war.
Revelations about instigating a conflict a la the Maine are somewhat new, but hardly surprising. I was hoping for something like making Saddam's moustache a sentient being who would then lead a coup d'etat against the Baathist regime. Instead the suggestions were the typical "shoot down a U2" or "assassinate Hussein". Seen it, done it!
Still the key question: why go was war with Iraq absolutely necessary? This answer to this question has never been presented to me satisfactorily.

Yakyu
Japan kicked Cuba’s butt, ending a great couple weeks of baseball. Most surprised at the result. If you would have told me before this whole thing started that the final would be Cuba and Japan I wouldn’t have necessarily blanched, but after the 1st two rounds, Japan looked lackluster. But the Rising Sun rose to the occasion. Ichiro’s seems particularly thrilled. He certainly resembles Michael Jordan in the way press describes him, while Hideki seems to have more of a Magic aura. I wonder how close that is to the case or it is the easier way to frame the story.

At It Again
Theo’s done good with this one. Wily Mo will be mo wily than Arroyo this year guaranteed. Also you get rid of Bronson’s questionable facial hair. A win-win for the Sox, and lose-lose for my boys in the Bronx.

That’s incentive
Prior to the start of the second round, the Korean government announced that it would waive for its players the mandatory three-year stint in the armed forces — imposed on every Korean male — if the team reached the semifinals in San Diego.
This is the kind of thing the American team is missing. My suggestion is that the US impose a mandatory military service requirement just to waive the requirement for WBC participants, if they make it to the final. That’s right – next level, people! We’re the USA damnit.

new del.icio.us fun
Harnesses the power of del.icio.us to give users a “history” of a given URL at del.icio.us. Plug in a URL and get back related sites, common tags, and a list of who has tagged the site and the notes users annotated the site with. One thing I’ve always wanted to see on the internet was a way of surfing laterally. If I like a site, say atrios, what other sites are the people who like atrios looking at?
Not above “I told you so”
Would I like some ice cream in my root beer gloat? You betcha! See point 3.
